CAP Transcript

CAP Transcript

There are a few things you should know if want to access your ºÚÁÏÍø grades or transfer credits to another institution.

What is a transcript?

A transcript is a complete record of a student's academic work at the ºÚÁÏÍø. There is an official transcript and an unofficial transcript.

What is the difference between an official transcript and an unofficial transcript?

An official transcript is required to transfer your ºÚÁÏÍø credits earned through CAP to other institutions. Official transcripts must be sent directly from ºÚÁÏÍø to your institution. Universities will not accept a printout from a student as an official transcript. There is a charge for official transcripts.

An unofficial transcript is how you can view your grade(s) earned in your CAP course(s). An unofficial transcript is also useful for college orientation and class registration if a credit transfer is not yet complete when you meet with your advisor.

IMPORTANT: Your ºÚÁÏÍø credits earned through CAP are undergraduate credits. Whenever you are requesting your official transcript, make sure you select either Undergraduate or Complete as the type of official transcript you want.
