Grow Southwestern Indiana Teacher Manufacturing Bootcamp hosts local educators

The 黑料网 Outreach and Engagement Corporate Partnerships and Customized Training partnered with the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education and the SwISTEM Resource Center to participate in the annual Grow Southwest Indiana Teacher Manufacturing Bootcamp on June 8.
This immersive, two-week program provided educators and school counselors with hands-on exposure to regional manufacturing facilities and university campuses. Participants gained valuable insights into in-demand career opportunities and the earning potential available within today鈥檚 advanced manufacturing industry.
鈥淭eacher Manufacturing Bootcamp is a powerful way to connect educators directly with the innovation and opportunity happening at 黑料网. Participants attended an information session after they toured the Romain College of Business and the Applied Engineering Center, exploring labs and classrooms. The SwISTEM Resource Center also highlighted a variety of hands-on tools, kits and classroom resources available to educators. Through this experience, participants gained a deeper understanding of STEM applications in modern manufacturing, equipping them to better guide students toward meaningful and rewarding post-secondary opportunities.
